Anias Vidoux
The Good Twin
No Housecalls

Despite his best efforts, Anias often finds himself in the local clinic providing routine care for the denizens of Sharlayan. That's not to say he doesn't insist his students do most of the actual examinations.Dr Vidoux does keep a roster of more complex patients for himself. Patients who require the utmost discretion, including a colleague or two.
Dr Buzzkill

Mild mannered, well-behaved, and limited tolerance for your nonsense.Anias' 38 years have been painted in shades of white and grey. He has risen to prominence as a Sharlayan physician and scholar whose research has lead to numerous small breakthroughs in treating infectious diseases plaguing the realm. Anias is loathe to tout his own accomplishments, instead preferring to allow his students to take the spotlight. They are the future of medicine in the realm, after all.Anias is quiet. He often comes off as judgemental or condescending, though that is far from his intent. Unlike his more flamboyant, older (by 4 minutes) twin, Asher, Anias struggles socially and often finds himself alone. Whether by choice or happenstance is not always readily apparent. He and his identical twin could not be more different. They never agree, are embarrassed by and for each other, but each would take a bullet for the other without a second thought.
Personal Projects

Anias took to medicine and aetheric healing almost immediately. Learning the existing methods was never enough; however, and he began his pursuit of advanced treatments for the star's many plagues before he'd managed 30 summers. With a number of successes under his belt, he built a name for himself within Sharlayan's many hallowed halls. His personal life took the hit for these breakthroughs. In 38 years, he's never allowed himself the opportunity to develop a hobby or enjoy the company of a friend--though he will insist otherwise.Rumor has it the doctor can be spotted fraternizing on rare occasion with one Ambrose Delaroux, the ever demanding botany professor. He has not been the same since the death of his good friend and colleague (and patient) Cassius. Though devastated, Anias is not one to wear his heart on his sleeve. He continues to work on refining the eye treatment he'd started for his friend in the hopes that it can one day cure someone else in his honor.
